Free plans from Bateau.com

Free plans for a 14' canoe.

This boat uses only 2 sheets of plywood! The file includes a step by step tutorial on reading boat blueprints and cutting plywood from dimensions. It is an excellent introduction to stitch and glue boat building. Read more or download here.

Free plans for a 7' 10" dinghy

With building instructions etc. The D4 files have been downloaded more than 100,000 times and D4s are afloat all over the world. This is an old file but a good little boat and the price is right. The 25 year old file has been converted to PDF but the old email address is wrong. For information about those plans, join the forum. The new version is the D5 listed at this site. The new plans show more details and some improvements like better the hull panel development, better plan layout, more detailed building notes and updated material use.

Free plans for simple but good looking oars. These oars were designed and built by Spark Geissler, a frequent contributor to our message board and builder of a V10. He created the web page and the downloadable plans. Thanks.

Another free plan, this one for a folding "kayak". It is a .pdf file for Windows with drawings etc. plans

More coming soon: a pirogue? a skiff?
